Pedro de Lima Bastos is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Applied Linguistics at Penn State and has been teaching English as a second/foreign language since 2012 across a variety of contexts. Pedro is passionate about supporting multilingual students in achieving their language and life goals and advocates for the creation of safe and inclusive spaces for all. His research interests include Second Language Pragmatics, Intercultural Communication, and Language Teacher Education.
